I've been incredibly happy with the "Basic starter kit" I got from Northern
Brewer.....though I have since added a 5 gallon glass fermenter to my setup
to a allow for secondary fermentations. Anything in this range from almost
any supplier would be a pretty awesome gift if your boyfriend has expressed
any interest in home brewing.
