I have used the trials of promash, beersmith, and strangebrew. I find
beersmith to be easier to use. as far as support the author of beersmith
(Brad Smith) lurks and posts to this group and rec.crafts.brewing from time
to time so I'm sure he would be willing to answer some of your questions.
