Locate to Davis, CA. The university teaches brewing, but the
nearest supplies are a 45 min drive away. Not good when you just need a
packet of yeast. Also, be logical with shipping. Too many shops charge a
min ~$5 UPS shipping rate for even the smallest item. A packet of dried
yeast (orgered online) should be able to go through the USPS for less than
$1 without the need to call and make special arrangements for shipping
that way.
