| Some Help Here? Hi All,
I'm in the process of making my first non-kit beer. I'm making a light ale
as per a recipe. The recipe says to rack to secondary fermenter after 4 to 7
days depending on bubbling activity. It has been 4 days and bubbling rate
has slowed to about every 2.5 minutes. I thought I would transfer it today
but when I peeked into the fermenter there is a heavy dark foam and hops
still on top. Do I just need to wait a little longer or has something gone
wrong? I put the lid and air-lock back on the fermenter until I know how to
proceed. Thanks for any advice - |
