I had a five gallon "beer ball" (plastic sphere full of homebrew) in the
back of my Jeep (Wrangler) one evening when I hit something just wrong.
The thing broke loose from whatever it was I had holding it steady and
rolled into a piece of metal and burst. The Jeep sure smelled good for
a while, but I'm glad I didn't get pulled over!.

I ended up bailing it all out at the footwells, hosing the interior
down, and bailing again.

That's the last time I used beer balls (though I might again if
necessary). I had made five gallons for my wedding, and this was an
extra.
