Trub?

I usualy brew from extract (DME), occassonally do steeping grains,
after boiling I generally strain off my hop debris (trub) and simply
do a primary in a plastic bucket, bottle and drink. Switching to a
conical fermenter with a bottom dump, how should I change my
technique?
