| Ingredients for 5 gallons:
Pale malt, 9 lbs.
Munich malt, 8 oz.
Caramel malt, 7 oz.
Chocolate malt, 4 oz.
Victory malt, 3 oz.
Carapils malt, 4 oz.
Fuggles hops, 2 oz.
Gypsum, 0.5 teaspoon (add to mash)
Ale yeast
Hazelnut flavoring
Procedure:
Mash in at 155 F, rest for 1 hr.
Sparge and fill kettle
Boil for 90 minutes
Add hops as follows:
At kettle full, 1.5 oz. At KF + 85 mins., 0.5 oz.
Cool to 65 F and pitch ale yeast
Ferment at 65-70 F.
Add hazelnut flavoring at bottling.
