Questions on Lambic

I was thinking of making a geuze type lambic.
This would consist of making a batch every year for three years, then blending them.

I just don't want to have 15gals of brew.

I have 1 gallon jugs (lots of them)
I was thinking 2gallon batches for 3 years and I would end up with 6 gallons total.

I also would like to save some $$ and not buy the cultures every year.
Can I keep reculturing?
When I brew batch 2 rack onto the scum left from batch one?

any thoughts?

Re: Questions on Lambic

My opinion is why go through all the trouble and wait 3 years for a small amount of beer..........What if it turns out
to be the best thing you have ever tasted? Go for the normal amounts and if its good you'll be doing the happy
dance!........HJ
