Brew using a light malt and piss in it for hops.
Bottle as usual.

The malt is optional.

To be honest, it was Budweiser that used to have
the ad bragging they used only the finest rice.

That used to make me wince.

Can you tell I am not exactly a Coors light fan?
Of course there have been so many bad American
beers its hard to pick the worst. Maybe Buckhorn.

May I ask what your level of homebrewing skill is? Do you stick to
mainly extract or do you do whole grain? Also, why would you want to
brew something like Coors Light? If you have macro swill drinking
friends coming over or something it's probably best just to buy them a
case and be done with it - or try a little education with them...

Try the clone books, the *American Light Lager* recipes will work, but
they aren't the easiest beers to produce.

They demand careful production to maintain the colour, and you are
likely to end up with something tasting too good :)

At some point, I also intend to produce something that looks like
BudMillCoors, but tastes they way they *should*.

Re: Coors Light Clone ??

Try this recipe; 3.3# Extra Light malt extract, 1# light DME, 1# dried
rice extract, 1oz. Saaz (bittering), 1/4oz (finishing) this makes a very
refreshing beer very much like Coors but with a little more hop flavor.
I've made it many times and Coors and Bud fans love it.
