Ok, I've read in a dozen places that your brewpot shouldn't be used for
anything other than beer making. Well, the long-suffering thought that
the 8 gal was, "The perfect size for our New Years lobster and crab leg
boil"[enter cute blonde smile and giggle here]. Now my f*ing pot smells
like fish. I scrubbed it with softscrub w/bleach, but it still stanks.
Any suggestions??

Try some PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash).

Boil a mild mix of vinegar and water to remove it then wash and rinse well
or
Buy a new pot
