Bottled Spring Water

I plan on using bottled spring water to brew beer. If I purchase
bottled water in a glass carboy is it still necessary to sanitize the
bottle before I add the boiled batch back to ferment?

Thanks

If I understand your question, yes you need to sanitise everything that comes in
contact with the beer. Carboy, spoon, stirrer, funnel, hose,...etc. Everything.
Except the water. I have never sterilised (or sanitized) the water I've added.
But then I only ever use filtered tap water, which has been treated at the local
water company.
