Tried it once, and it wasn't bad. Pick up a copy of Homemade Root Beer,
Soda & Pop by Stephen Cresswell Plenty of recipes.
I got all the herbs in bulk from Stony Mountain Botanicals
([url]www.wildroots.com[/url]) The seemed to have a wide selection and the prices were
reasonable. It was a while ago, but the shopping experience with them was
good.
Do you have a keg set-up? Force carbonating seems to be the way to go with
this, but you can still make root beer without it. |
