Well....I've used plastic PET bottles for beer, wine and faux Brandy. I've
stored in them for over 6 months with NO problems! I've read numerous posts
here that seem to be from people replying not on facts or trial and error
but heresay or old wives tales. I've fermented in plastic on numerous
occasssions and stored in plastic also. I made a Mead that I left in primary
(plastic) for six months with no problems. My opinion is try things out and
post on what you've tried... |
