Watch out for some of those Cat's Meow recipes...a good number of them
were posted without the recipe ever being tested. I even ran across a
Red ale recipe there that was nothing but crystal malt! In order to use
them, you have to know enough to recognize what might be wrong!

I find problems with about half of those that walk into my shop. Somebody
needs to go through those things doing a sanity check.

It would be nice if there was at least a warning on the page that some
recipes might be suspect.

I lost the bookmark a long long time ago. That is the best way to go.
Besides, it is hard to trust any online recipe ... except this one:

You devil! For some reason, that one seems vaguely familiar, not to
mention right on the money! :) Actually, I've used both WY1272 and
Brewtek CL50 on it, and they both worked great. We brew 10 gal. of
wort, then my brewing partner and I each ferment 5 gal. separately, and
combine them at bottling. We've done a fair bit of experimenting with
different yeast for each half.
