Bavaria

Okay the commercial sold me on trying Bavaria, and I wasn't dissapointed.
This is an
excellent beer with no aftertaste. However with no disrespect to Bavaria,
Corona is
still my favourite beer. With a lime, I've never tasted anything better.
What is your
favourite beer??

Re: Bavaria

Because of the substantial German influence in Mexico since the 1800's
(beer, brass instruments, accordions) most of the great Mexican beers are
actually German beers made in Mexico. Dos Equis is very good and so is
Carta Blanca in the 32 oz bottles....which are great for bottling home brew
in (you don't need as many as the 12 ouncers). The Carta Blancas are also
pretty cheap at Food 4 Less. Drink 'em up and save the bottles for later!

Re: Bavaria

Actually, I'm from Southern California so it's easy for us to get a hold of
a great Mexican beer.....except for Corona....I don't really like them very
much. You have to drink it with a lime....but it is not very beer like.
They also have to be VERY cold and it needs to be about 100 degrees outside!

Re: Bavaria

There is only one thing DIVINE about Bavaria: they bought a Trappist
brewery. So they could say they DO have a tasty beer, that does not
taste like nothing. Makes their INTERVENTION less devine.

The trolling OP wasn't "talking" about the Bavaria beer from the
Netherlands, but the one from South America. That one is owned by
Molson, and has nothing to do with the Dutch brewer that bought
the La Trappe brewery at Koningshoeven.

Whoo! I was worried. For a moment there I thought Molson
was brewing something other than shite!

I always thought Molson brewed something far more akin to piss. (Sorry, but
that was way too easy.)

Oddly Hawaiian music is descended from Bavarian folk music. The Queen of
Hawaii hired a Bavarian to write music.
