New to brew...

I am a newbie to the whole homebrewing experience. Is there anyone who
would like to give me any advice or tips as I start? I read the
"Homebrewing for Dummies" book and found that I couldn't put it down, that's
why I chose to start this as a hobby. Any advice or suggestions will be
appreciated, especially when it comes to getting all of the necessary
equipment. In advance, thanks.

Rich

Rich,
I too, am a newbie brewer (3 batches under my belt!) The Home Brew
Digest web site is far and away the best and most used resource for
homebrewers I've found. The site has tons of great info, pix, recipes
and such but the forum is the best part of it. Super active and used
by some of the best home brewers in the country, you will get answers
to just about any question you might have. I recommend it highly.

Read www.howtobrew.com. You might want to pick up the book, too, as it's a
great reference.

Check out rec.crafts.brewing for a great deal of brewing tips. Very newbie
friendly.

Beer here,

Mike
