Half ounze of ginger essence (where to get I don't know)
Half ounze Capsicum (paprika)
Half ounze burnt sugar (just melt slowly in pan)
Half ounze tartaric acid (found at local chemist)
4 pounds of sugar
7 pints of boiling water
Put sugar and tartaric acid into suitable receptacle. Pour over boiling
water and stir until dissolved.
Add ginger essence.
Bottle when cold.
