I'd like to improve flavour's beer with pot-herbs...
Have you ever tried?

Yes...it's a waste of time and money. Just smoke a joint while you're
drinking your beer.

Ha ha ha, I'm so out of touch. I thought he meant herbs you cook in
the pot with the malt and grains. :-P

later,

tom

I'm curious was it for the flavouring or the "medicinal" properties.

Well, the commercial ones use it more for a novelty than anything,
though they claim it adds something to the taste. Homebrews I've tried
add it for the effect. Neither flavor or effect impressed me much.

Re: pot-herbs

Where you guys have it wrong is you can use Marijuana in beer.
First you have to use a recipe for Barley Wine.
THC isn't soluble in water, but it is soul in Alcohol.
So you would have to dry hop the marijuana in a secondary fermentation.
You would have to use large quantities of marijuana trim and buds from the
bottom branches.
Say about 2 1/2 ounces or more in order to do any good.
The buzz you will get won't be as good as smoking a joint, but it will have
some extra kick besides alcohol.
I have made this beer before and I for one know it's possible.

If anyone would like this recipe, write me at madman911@hotmail.com
