I've been itching to try the recipes listed on Cooper's website for a while, but I have a small problem: all the recipes include Cooper's brew enhancer (1 or 2) which aren't available here.

As the website tells, they include dextrose, maltodextrin (and in case of #2, light dry malt). I can get all these ingredients separately, so now all I need to know is how much of each ingredient I should use. Could someone tell me this?

I believe brew enhancer 1 is 70% dextrose / 30% maltodextrin and brew enhancer 2 is 50% dry light malt, 30% dextrose and 20% maltodextrin.

Not sure if the figures I've given for brew enhancer 2 are exactly right but I've mixed this combo up myself and the beer tastes the same as that made with BE 2. I've also used 750 grams of dry light malt and 250g of dextrose and this works well in the Coopers kits I've tried.

I tried using 1000g of dry light malt and it will came out way too sweet. Also all the hops flavour and aroma was smothered by the malt.
