I made a batch of beer on sunday 8/1/05 aprox 10 hrs after pitching the liquid yeast the fermentation started the air lock was bubbling 3 times every 5 sec it has been a week and its still going. The air lock is bubbling one every 15 sec should I be concerend. The starting gravity was 1.042 I have not checked the gravity should I do that or just let it go. The temp has been a stable 73 F.

The average primary is 7 to 10 days or until fermentation slows. I wouldn't let it sit on the trub too long. First of all relax and have a beer. If the airlock is still going strong, rack to secondary on the 10th, relax and have some more beer. Fermentation will continue on.
