question about getting rid of Kraeusen in primary? Hello, I was wondering if anybody had opinions on this:
I heard that when the Kraeusen subsides and goes back into the wort/beer, it can add bitterness and off flavors, and using a blow by tube to let the Kraeusen get out of the primary for the first few days of fermentation and then putting on the air lock could amount to better beer?
Any feedback on this?
Anyone getting rid of the Kraeusen in their primary? If so how are you doing it?
Thanks!
