Anyone ever try brewing with cactus?

Since where I live there seems to be a never ending supply of cactus I am thinking about doing some experimenting with them. There was once a beer made by a company out of Austin that did a cactus thing but that was years ago when I tried it and I have not seen it since. This has assured me that it can be done but what I don't know is how much cactus was in it.

Anyone ever tried this? Anyone have any possible suggestions?

I've only heard of Prickly Pear Cactus beer or mead. I'm sure others will be as interested as I am to see any recipes you might come up with.

Good luck,
Wild
