| Re: Starter Yeast I think you would just take part of a bottle of Guiness and warm it to 70-75 degrees and put your yeast in it maybe an hour before you pitch. I have a friend that uses Nottingham yeast with a starter, and his airlock is going berzerk by the end of the day that he brews, and he uses tap water for his, but the principle is the same.
