Honey as a primer?

I have seen recipes that use honey in place of malt extract, but I was wondering if anyone has used honey in place of corn sugar as a primer to carbonate your beer? It seems like it would work, I'm just curious if anyone has any experience doing this.... how much do you use relative to corn sugar, any pratfalls, etc.

I've heard of this being done. But sadly, I cannot remember how it turned out or if it was good. I will have to do some searching to see if I can find this again.
