Hello All

Hello everyone.
This looks like a great forum to learn the obsession of homebrewing.
I don't own any equipment yet. Have mainly been doing research and I know getting your hands dirty is the best way to learn how to do it but I figured I would start by reading up on it.
I recently purchased John Palmers "How to Brew" but thought maybe I could also get some input from people who have been brewing, so here I am.
Be gentle with me. Like I said I am a newbie.

You already have the best resource available to the beginner. Some other good reads are about Denny's cheap and easy batch sparging. Here http://www.hbd.org/cascade/dennybrew/ or Here http://www.tastybrew.com/articles/dennyconn001
Tasty brew site also has another forum that gets a lot of activity. http://www.tastybrew.com/forum/
When you get the equipment don't go for anything less than 5 gallon batches. Be sure your brew kettle has enough room for boiling the batch plus 50% for boiloff and foam.

Thanks

I guess Im one of those types who likes to read before jumping in.
Im looking forward to getting my equipment, which may not be for another month or so but at least I will have a good idea of how to go about it.
My brewing will most likely be out on the patio using a turkey fryer so if I have any boil overs the wife wont kill me.
Anyway, thanks again. I look forward to getting educated here.

WhoooHooo, glad to be here.
I will be full of questions I guess because after reading most of the How to Brew book and have also been researching things online and find some things contradicting from each other so it will be nice to hear from people with the hands on experience.
