Re: Howdy From Oklahoma

Been brewing off and on since I was 14. Now I just turned 32. Sounds like a professional right? huh? I wish! The key words being "off and on", lol. I do have enough under my belt to get the job done though. I did do an assistant brewers internship in 2004 at a 15BBL brewpub and got to play with the big toys for about 3 months. Man that was the best fun and I got paid.

Sounds like you have some experience. So what has been your best beer to date? Do you make any wines?

Re: Howdy From Oklahoma

Best beer to date has to be my roggenweizen. Pale ale with 5%rye and 10%wheat added to domestic 2-row and a little crystal 60 (now using crystal 40) and carapils. I am wondering why the carapils now cause the wheat alone delivers a marathon head. Used to do wines and am getting started again, well apfelwein anyways. I know people growing wine grapes here in oklahoma and when they are ready in a couple of years i told them I would help them make wine.
