New from Avondale

Hey guys and gals.

I am new to the site. Fairly new to brewing. I have brewed 2 successful brews. And working on a third. My affection for good craft brews has led me to brewing my own. Plus it gives me the satifaction that I can brew a delicious beverage!

I live out here in the Phoenix Metro area. Been here for a few years, and loving every minute of it!

As far as my beer selection... I love the Belgian ales. Normally higher in Alcohol, and SO much complexity to the flavor. Belgian Tripples, to Belgian brown ales. I also prefer brown ales and stouts to those lighter Hefe's. But not too into the hoppiness of the IPA's. I do consider myself a "self proclaimed" Beer conisure. For I love to taste all type of different beers. If I see a new beer in the store that I have not tasted, I must have it!

I look forward to discussing different techniques of craft brewing with you guys. And possibly meeting some local fellow conisures of the brew. It's hard to find people that appreciate fine beer...

Re: New from Avondale

Welcome to the forum crapsstickman711. I live in PHX and also belong to a Westside homebrew club. There are also quite a few homebrewers in the valley as Chuck at What Ales Ya will attest to. Congratulations on the brew and good luck on many more.
