Homebrew for Gouty Geezers

Anybody experiment with building a homebrew, preferably an ale, that would have a minimal tendency to trigger a round of Gout? The idea would to brew to minimize purines, which burn down to uric acid, which in high concentrations in the blood triggers the damn swollen toes and joints. Maybe there's a rheumotologist homebrewer out there! Thanks, Ted

Gouty Geezer........

I've delt with gout for over 20 years and haven't had a problem for about 6 years since I started taking Allopurinol. Simply is a non-issue. Ask your Dr. about it, that's what I did after a coworker told me about it.
No more Colchisine and its down sides !
