Long, Long Time Well, I started out on a John Bull kit when I was 14 and now I am 31. Moved from extract kits to all grain when I was 16 and have never looked back. Three summers back I did an internship at The Hub City Brewery in Lubbock, TX, and then I moved back to my hometown in Ada, OK. I took a break from brewing about two years before the internship but picked right back up after my move. Oklahoma has strange liquor laws and they can't refridgerate beer sold in Liquor Stores. They also can't sell anything greater than 3.2% ABW anyplace but the Liquor Store. Hope you are seeing the "need" for brewing now! I now brew 16 gallon batches and have just gotten into lagers and lagering equipment. |
