Brewing other things

Anyone here make other home made stuff such as hot sauce?

No.. but I do love hot sauce. Wouldn't mind trying that someday.

Another thing I would like to try my hand at is hard cider. the girlfriend and I drink it from time to time and I'd like to make some of my own. Maybe even a batch of wine.

I make a few pounds of beef-jerky every year but thats it.

No rub. I just throw a mix of soy sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, dried peppers (tepin, habanero, and reds), and a few dashes of pure capsicum to taste. Marinate for 24 hours and then start drying.

We make lye soap with ingredients that we import from Ghana. We also make lotions with the same ingredients.
