| Re: healthy vs unhealthy By this chart and looking at the ratio per drink someone like me could figure around 60% chance of death. I have drank like this for around 25 years.
So how many years of life is this based on?
If it is 20 years then luck is about to run out.
If it is 50 years then I still have a 40% chance of seeing age 65.
And why do they say ALL CAUSES?
So drinking more would increase my odds of being shot, a tornado hitting my house, getting hit by lightning, get a some odd desease from contaminated water supply, etc.
Don't know but it all sounds like psuedo science to me where the numbers are just made up to scare people. Maybe these numbers had to be created in order to prove a different, grander theory worth some reasearch dollars.
