Re: Best food with a beer

Edible?

I prefer grilled or smoked foods. I've found it difficult to grill or smoke without a beer in my hand. Cooking outside always includes images of entertaining neighbors and friends. This seems to add to the enjoyment of the pairing.

Re: Best food with a beer

Generally I will have a beer with anything I eat but if there has to be a best food I have to agree with Wild on grilled and/or smoked.
When I plan on firing up the grill I will soak the beaf or pork in a homemade beer sauce overnight. To make this sauce is easy, take a bottle of your favorite brew and mix in seasoning to your taste.
I also like doing the beer can up the chickens rear too. This has become a favorite with my family and I even inject some of the brew under the chickens skin for a little extra juiciness and flavor.
MMMM... thinking about this is now making me want to grill this weekend. Guess it will be time to pick up some pork ribs and a whole chicken tomorrow.
