Please take a look at this image that I found in someone's blog. My mom used to make this basket using corn cobs and now I am interested to learn how to make it and sell it to the market. Do you know how to make this?
You may have to do some research on this one. Do you have any local crafts organizations that you could consult? If not, try the Fox Fire books. These are basically instruction books on how to live off the land and make things from what you have around you. Do let us know what you find.
I've never seen a basket like this, and I live in an area where they grow a lot of corn. This one is such a cool basket. I wonder if it's glued in any way or if the stitches hold in the cobs.
That is pretty cool! I wonder if people actually eat the corn off those cobs before the baskets are made. I'm not sure I would like a basket if someone ate off of it. I have never seen one in person. Good luck finding the pattern.
Wow! I have never seen such as a basket before, but it is pretty interesting. I tried to check it out online and I saw that a similar basket is being sold on ebay.
That one is really cool! I have never thought of using corn cobs to make a basket and I have never seen one so I am afraid I can't be much of a help. Why not try to check out video tutorials on unique arts and crafts?
