Does anyone eat breakfast for dinner?

You can get burned out on holiday leftovers, at least that's what happens with me. Last night, I had a big bowl of Cheerios with sliced peaches for dinner. It was a nice change of pace. Does anyone else have breakfast for dinner, or vice versa?

We have breakfast for our night meal, occasionally. But, when we do, we have biscuits, sausage or bacon, eggs, syrup, etc. We use the night when we have plenty of time to make sure it's a really good breakfast.

Sometimes when everyone one in the house is tired or feels just like slumping onto the sofa, we simply have fried eggs, bacon, or ham for dinner. One of my nephews is a fussy eater, so there are times he asks for a bowl of Cheerios or bread with cream cheese for his evening meal.

I eat breakfast or dinner at any time of the day! There are no foods that are "banished" to a certain time frame in my eyes.

I suppose that's one good thing about being an adult: you can eat what you want, when you want.

Right on! I totally agree. I regularly eat left overs from my evening meal for breakfast, whether it's curry or salad, and my other half eats cereal at any time of day.

Our house is not in the norm of most people. Over the weekend we all had pancakes for lunch, why? Because we could of course. I think some foods are just against trying to move them around during the day, say a roast for breakfast, but most others are up as fair game.

I've had pizza for breakfast and omelettes for dinner. However, I agree that there are some foods that don't have as much appeal at other times. I love just about everything kind of seafood, but it has never had any appeal for me as a breakfast food.

I eat all kinds of stuff any time of the day! :) My friends think it's weird that I will eat eggs and bacon for dinner and steak with mashed potatoes for breakfast. But hey it makes me happy!

Definitely. Breakfast for dinner is actually one of my favorite theme nights actually. I'm not able to eat too too much at breakfast time or within the first few hours of being awake in general. Too much sweets make me sick and the grease of breakfast meats do the same. If I have them later on in the day, though, they don't bother me.

Yes, I love having breakfast for dinner. I usually do not have time for breakfast so I rarely get to eat it in the morning. I love pancakes anytime, any day, so when I just don't feel like dinner in the P.M. I'll make myself some pancakes or bacon & eggs :)

I sometimes do this. It seems like breakfast taste better at night maybe because its "forbidden"

Usually it's because I really don't feel like preparing something to eat. All the steps in getting dinner ready and then sitting down to enjoy the meal when your tired doesn't do it.

There are times that I have scrambled egg or bacon plus a slice of toast for dinner. It's usually when I am dead tired to prepare a 'decent' meal. For breakfast, I rarely deviate from the usual pancake, cereal or bread but when I do so, I eat pizza.

There are a few things I doubt I would switch around but not many. I guess it depends on the person and what type of meal you want. I doubt I would break out a full course meal for breakfast though.

I always eat breakfast foods at breakfast time, but I certainly don't mind having them for dinner too. Sometimes it's a simple bowl of cereal and sometimes it's a big meal, usually with waffles.

We have breakfast for dinner sometimes. I like breakfast foods, and they can be a lot cheaper than other "traditional" dinner meals. My kids think it is a huge treat if we have something like pancakes and sausage for dinner.

Heck, yea, we do! A big breakfast is one of my favorite meals. We don't do it in the summer, but in the winter one night a week is devoted to eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. That's great comfort food when it's cold outside.

We have breakfast for dinner a lot. Always pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. When our kids we young they loved it. At first they thought we were broke, they were so funny.

I could eat breakfast any time. We have it morning, noon, and night and I don't mind it at all. I can eat cereal as a snack anytime during the day.

On occasion I do both. Eat breakfast for dinner and eat dinner for breakfast. I generally don't tap into doing this unless I'm out eating at a breakfast all day type of restaurant joint such as IHOP. However, if there's leftover pizza in the fridge, I have no problem eating it as soon as I wake up!
