What do you do with the cork after you've enjoyed your bottle of wine? Don't throw it away. A little imagination can turn those corks into a lovely decorative piece...If you wanna express your being a wine enthusiast, let a wine cork wreath on your door or walls do the talking. :)

I guess that would be a nice gift to give to a wine connoisseur, but there is no way that I am going to sit there and put all of that together.

When I worked in day care I had parents offer corks for craft projects. Those things can come in handy. I am guilty of just throwing them out most of the time. I have a few in my junk drawer but that's it.

We are not large wine drinkers in this household but that is pretty neat. I wonder how many other things you could make with it. What about it though, are you rinsing it well to keep that after smell away? I would wonder what happens when a wreath is handing on the door of a college party house and the cops are called for a party. :)

We brew beers so there's no cork available in our area. I really want to learn how to make wine but hey, the wreath looks good. At least I wouldn't need to buy crepe papers to make Christmas wreath.
