Kiwi?

I had someone ask me the other day, and I honestly didn't know what to tell them. They are interested in starting to get into dehydrating. Out of the blue they asked if kiwi could be dehydrated. I don't think it can because of the amount of moisture inside, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask for others' opinions and see if anyone had ever done it before.

Just about anything can be dehydrated. That doesn't mean that it will be particularly good once done, though, or that it will be easy to do so. With very juicy fruits like this and watermelon, it might be better to make fruit leather rather than to try and dry the fruit as is.

That might be a better approach to it. I will suggest to her to try to make a fruit leather out of it. I'm also thinking that it wouldn't dehydrate really well. Thanks for the reply!
