I want to try my hand at making sausages from the game I bag, as a way to preserve the meat. I'm talking about the type of pre-cooked sausages that last practically forever, like summer sausage. Does anyone know how to do that?
We seldom eat it but I have read once you defrost them you should be slowly warming them up rather than trying to nuke them with a huge fire under the pan. I am not sure if it depends on the type of sausage though.
